Enjoy a summer Spanish learning vacation in a typical "Tico" town on the outskirts of the capital San Jose.

Heredia (100,000) is a small town located about 7 miles from San Jose and offers a peaceful retreat from the busy capital. Surrounded by hills and coffee plantations, this Summer Vacation offers you the chance to live with a local family.

San Jose is on your doorstep and many of the activities will offer you the chance to visit the many museums, colorful markets and enjoy the city, however life away from the hectic city.

Located in a beautiful, prestigious private campus with spacious grounds surrounded by coffee plantations and open fields. The campus has excellent study facilities, many social areas, several soccer fields, large outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts & multipurpose sports area including volleyball & basketball courts.

Highlights

* 4 group lessons daily: 20 lessons per week

- We accept all levels
- A lessons usually lasts 45 minutes
- Course runs Monday through Friday
- Classes will take place from 2:45 to 5:45

- You will take a placement test on the first Monday
- Maximum 12 students per group class

- This is a fully chaperoned summer vacation, so teens will be escorted to / from school each day

Supervision, curfews and student info:
- Fully chaperoned program and teens escorted each day to/from school and tours. - Teens will NOT be allowed out alone without chaperon or host family member.
- Estimated students on the immersion: 20 - 50 students
- Staff ratio 1 counselor for every 12 students

After class activities:
Enjoy a full schedule of social and cultural activities including: surf classes, coffee plantation tour, horse-riding, hiking through rain forest to swim and visit waterfalls, beach bike-ride, community service activities, ecological hikes, canopy zip line tours, bonfires and music on the beach, Latin dance and evening outings, arts and crafts class, and more...
