Learn Spanish in Costa Rica's cloud forest reserves, in a rural region about a 5 hour bus ride from San Jose.

Monteverde is at an elevation of 5,600 feet and this region is known for its commitment to the sustainable development of the community, conservation of the cloud forest and the abundant opportunities for hiking, bird-watching & zip lining through the canopy of the cloud forest.

At the weekends enjoy a trip to the Arenal Volcano or coast.

Located on the outskirts of the village in modern building, located within its own private campus and gardens.

Highlights

You have the following course options:
* 4 lessons daily: (20 group lessons per week)
* 5 lessons daily: (25 group lessons per week)

- We accept all language levels / ages 18+
- Unlimited course length
- A "lesson" usually lasts approx. 50 minutes
- Course runs Monday through Friday (mornings 8am)
- Loan of course materials are included
- Placement test and orientation on first day of course
- Maximum 4 students per group class

After class and weekend activities:
Enjoy social and cultural outings during the week with other students from the school: dance classes, cooking classes, Spanish movie nights, horseback riding, hiking some of the 24 kilometers of well-maintained trails, bird watching, visit a Butterfly Garden, coffee producing cooperatives or one of the many Monteverde art and craft galleries.

Monteverde is a great location for those students who have a strong appreciation of nature and wildlife.
