    Learn Japanese in Tokyo, Japan's capital and the country's largest city.

    Tokyo is one of the three world finance "command centers", along with New York City and London. At over 12 million people in the official metropolitan area alone, Tokyo is the core of the most populated urban area in the world, Greater Tokyo (which has a population of 35 million people).

    This huge, wealthy and fascinating metropolis brings high-tech visions of the future side by side with glimpses of old Japan, and has something for everyone. It is the seat of the Japanese government and the Imperial Palace, and the home of the Japanese Imperial Family.

    Located in the education district of Takadanobaba (5 minutes from Shinjuku by train) this district of Tokyo is known for it's Universities (Waseda University & Gakushuin girls University.

    * 4 lessons daily: 20 group lessons per week

    - We accept all language levels / ages 16+
    - Unlimited course length
    - Class size max 20 (Average 15)
    - A "lesson" usually lasts approx. 50 minutes
    - Course runs Monday through Friday
    - Morning classes: 8:50-12:40
    - Afternoon classes: 13:00-16:50

    - Placement test and orientation on first day of course

    Lodging Options:

    - Meals included: breakfast daily
    - Beds will be Japanese / futon style

    - Located 1 - 1.5 hrs to school by public transport
    - Japanese homestay can be a mixture of traditional/western styles

    - Social room with TV and PC
    - No meals included
    - Share with language and Japanese university students
    - Please bring towels
    - Bed linens and pillows will be provided
    - 20-50 minutes away

    After class activities:
    - Enjoy social and cultural outings during the week with other students from the school.
    - The curious can study traditional culture such as tea ceremony, calligraphy, or martial arts such as Karate, Judo, Aikido and Kendo. Eat a sushi breakfast at the Tsukiji Fish Market or take a boat ride on the Sumida River from Asakusa.
