Description

Verbier is a village located in southwestern Switzerland in the canton of Valais. It is one of the largest resort and ski areas in the Swiss Alps. In the summertime Verbier offers our teens a host of activities and experiences. There are 400 km of hiking trails. There are in addition 200 km of mountain bike piste. Other activities include climbing, paragliding, swimming, golf, tennis and other.

Located in the Mountains classes take place in typical chalets of the region.

Highlights

* 3 group lessons daily: 15 lessons per week

- A lessons usually lasts 50 minutes
- Course runs Monday through Friday starting at 9am

- You will take a placement test on the first Monday

- This is a highly supervised program.Teens of any age can NOT leave the campus unaccompanied unless accompanied by a member of staff.
- Fully supervised campus - residence doors are guarded 24 hours a day and locked between 9pm and 7am daily.Each student must obey a 10:00 pm curfew (if not attending an organised program event)
- Open to students from the ages of 13 - 17
- We expect 80% of students to be non native English speakers
- Estimated students on the immersion: 60 - 90 students
- Staff ratio 1 counselor for every 15 students
