Description

Our school in Sosua stands in its own grounds, surrounded by tropical gardens, just 5 minutes' walk from the main beach. There are on-site studios (private toilet/bathroom, use of kitchen) for students who prefer not to live in apartments or hotels, as well as a small cafeteria. The town centre is just a short walk away.

Study Spanish with other international students in our air-conditioned school, with its spacious and well-equipped classrooms and student cafeteria. We offer total immersion intensive and super-intensive Spanish language courses, with native Dominican tutors, in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

There is also a 'Travelling classroom' Spanish course, combining 20 Spanish lessons/week with a tour of the Dominican Republic. Students on this 2-week Spanish language program start the course at our school in Sosua, moving up to the Mountains of Jarabacoa, before proceeding to Santo Domingo, on to the beaches of Las Terrenas and finishing back in Sosua. This 2-week language tour includes Spanish lessons, twin room bed and breakfast accommodation, plus airport transfers from/to Puerto Plata Airport. See our website for more details.

We also organize regular Latin Dance classes (Salsa and Merengue), Creole Cookery Courses, and Spanish and Dominican Culture classes. An extensive optional cultural program is also available, with a wide range of visits, excursions and activities. Accommodation is in carefully selected host families, as well as in self-catering shared apartments and hotels. Airport collection is available, if required.
