Austin Heights is surrounded with prize-winning gardens and glows with colour most of the year round. Guests enjoy strolling around and admiring the flowers or just relaxing in the Garden setting after their fun packed day in Kaikoura. Or enjoying the BBQ and facilities available.

We are happy to arrange bookings for all local attractions. The Dolphin & Seal swimming, Albatross Encounters, whalewatching, fishing charters, moari tours, quad bikes etc.

We are within walking distance to to the Seal Colony which is one of the most visited points in New Zealand. Plus we are handy to the start of Kaikoura's beautiful Coastal Peninsula walkway and just around the corner from the Kaikoura"Look out" point.

The beachfront is a 10-minute walk from Austin Heights. There is a fresh seafood BBQ operating on the waterfront almost all year round which is very popular. Or you may like to relax in our Garden setting and have your very own BBQ.
We also have a complimentry pick-up service from the bus or train with prior notice.

At the end of your fun-packed day you may like to indulge in our Luxury Hydrotherapy outdoor Spa and admire our beautiful night sky.

Location

Turn off state Highway 1, into Scarborough Street where it is sign post reads "Penninsula Accommodation" and keep driving past the 'Look out' turn off. Austin Heights is the second turn on your left.
