Typical Volunteer

Volunteers should have a strong interest in agriculture, conservation, and sustainability. Work at the reserve is often very physical, so volunteers should be in relatively healthy physical condition. NOTE: There are three dogs that roam freely about the reserve. They are friendly with people, but those who fear dogs or have very strong allergies are not recommended for La Hesperia.
