La Esperanza Granada is a free-of-charge volunteer organization which assists local communities to improve the quality of life through education. Our focus is on children's education. By providing opportunities and resources for the long term educational advancement and community development of Nicaraguan pueblos, we hope to brighten the future of the children and empower the people of the barrios to improve their current living conditions, and break the cycle of poverty. Our motto is to give a hand up, not a hand out.
