We are located halfway between Tikal and Flores, along the lake in the village of El Remate. The
Tikal National Park entrance is just 15 min. away. Collective minibus shuttle service or private taxi service is available for pick up and return at our entrance.

La Casa De Don David provides a great base for all of your activities in the Petén area. Our goal is to provide you with a home-away-from-home experience. Lush gardens and beautifully laid native rock walkways lead you to the rooms. The dining room has a great view of the lake and we often get wonderful sunsets. In summer months at night, the exotic dragon fruit cactus flower, the Night blooming Cereus, can be seen and makes for a unique photo opportunity. Occasionally a tarantula can be seen at night.
