We have been running a traditional Japanese Kimono factory since the 1950’s.

Our ancestors started making Japanese traditional Kimono about 300 years ago, and still we are carrying on their art. We have a Master of Traditional Kimono Craftsman license.

Now we have partially rebuilt our factory and have included a new guest house. We would like to introduce Japanese traditional culture and the original folk habits of our town, Kyoto.

We would like to give you an opportunity to experience heartfelt traditional family hospitality with excellent service. It would be a great pleasure for us if you are interested in staying in our guest house. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Location

The Kyoto Craftsman Guest House is a five-minute walk from the Daitokuji Temple bus stop and a 20-minute walk from the Kitaoji subway station, which is 15 minutes via subway from Kyoto.
