Knox College offers a complete program of study in conjunction with the University of Barcelona in Spain. Founded in 218 B.C., Barcelona is an architectural treasure, with a beautiful Gothic Quarter and world-famous Art Nouveau buildings. The city has a rich cultural life and is close to Mediterranean beaches and the Pyrennees mountains. Since 1969, the Knox program has offered an invaluable immersion into Spanish culture providing instruction by University of Barcelona faculty and housing with local families.

Program Fees Include:

The basic program fee covers tuition, as well as: Room and board. University faculty and administrative costs. Hospital insurance for payment of medical expenses up to USD 12,500. Fees and one transcript sent to the home institution. USD 200 to travel over Winter holiday vacation (Full Year and Fall/Winter participants), and USD 200 for travel at Spring break (Full Year and Winter/Spring participants). The educational trips. NOT included in the basic program fee are: Passport. Air transportation to Barcelona. Estimated round-trip fare is about USD 850 (one year ticket). Travel insurance. Personal expenses such as books, entertainment and travel.
