    Host University:
    The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), founded in 1951, is recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Development as China's leading school for business, law and public relations. In 1972, UIBE served as the forum for President Nixon's historic visit, which restored diplomatic relations between the USA. and China. Today, UIBE's faculty continue to play a central role in China's economic development.

    Student Life:
    China's traditions, music and architecture are the result of 3,000 years of history. China is the world's most populous nation, with 1.3 billion inhabitants. Beijing is the political, economic and cultural capital. It is the intellectual hub of the nation, with more universities than any other city in China. The Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven are reminders of Beijing's past, while the modern transportation and skyscrapers are signs of its optimistic future.

    Students live on campus in the international residence hall. Each double-occupancy room has a private bathroom. The campus is located in the center of Beijing, next to shops, restaurants and other attractions.
