This area is unique in its natural and wild beauty and was recently included by Unesco in its World Natural Heritage List of protected biosphere reserves. There is more, The "Delta du Saloum" has been adopted in the very exclusive "Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World".

Situated in Toubacouta in the protected Saloum Delta National Park, located 270 km from Dakar, the hotel is perched on a high point overlooking the mangrove and a large sound offering an unforgettable panorama.

The 48 comfortable rooms (air-conditioning, individual shower and toilet) are tastefully arranged in small African-style bungalows scattered throughout a 7-hectare park with numerous trees and flowers.

A new building, which counts 6 comfortable suites, each 70 m2 big, balcony included, provides a unique sight on the mangroves. We called it the "Lamantin du Saloum" because of its shape, bur also because of the scarcity of this mammal (the sea cow), still present in this part of the Delta du Saloum.

Situated at the side of the cascading swimming pool, the restaurant offers both traditional cuisine and African specialities. Seen from the bar's panoramic viewpoint, sunsets are a stunning and unforgettable experience.

The 14 motorboats and canoes, each one of which is perfectly equipped to take you out for a small excursion or to go fishing, are ready for you at the landing stage. Those wishing to have a truly African experience will enjoy the canoe trips in search of kapok trees, thousand-year old baobabs, or a never-ending beach of fine sand worthy of a honeymoon.
