Founded in 2004, Keats School is a leading Chinese language institute in the Spring City of China, offering study abroad programs to international students. Keats School has achieved high reputation nationwide for its unique and professional teaching methods and academically profound Chinese language researches. Our programs include summer Chinese and cultural programs for college students and high school students, intensive 1:1 Chinese language courses, semester/year abroad programs, and various volunteer and internship programs. Students can receive college credits when completing the courses successfully. All Keats teachers speak standard Mandarin and fluent English.

Students can either live in Keats resident halls or live in Chinese families.

5. Summer Program for College Students

Keats School offers college/university students various summer learning adventures, which expose students to the profound Chinese language and Chinese culture.This program helps students develop useful skills in communication and leadership when students meet different people with different cultural backgrounds and volunteer at local communities. In a 6-weeks time, you will not only be able to use Chinese in your daily life, but also have a deep understanding of Chinese culture.

6. Study + Tour Program

Study + Tour Program combines professional one-on-one Chinese instruction and exciting excursions in Kunming city, providing students an opportunity to polish Chinese skills and gain insights of Chinese culture and local features. You are encouraged to come as a group of family members or group of friends. Study + Tour Program does not have a specific starting time and students can start anytime.

7. Study + Volunteer Program

This program is a perfect combination of intensive Chinese courses and volunteering opportunities in China. Volunteering in China means living and working alongside local people and gaining a better understanding of Chinese culture. Students will have 4 hours one-on-one Chinese lessons with a professional Chinese teacher in the morning to have some drills in Chinese language which they will be using when doing the volunteer work.

8. Study + Internship Program

Study + Internship Program aims to provide opportunities for the worldwide university/college students and young graduates to build up their work experience within an international context via carrying out their internships here in China. Students learn Chinese one-on-one with a highly qualified Chinese teacher for 4 hours in the morning, with a focus of business Chinese or professional field Chinese. Working closed with Chinese people will help students gain a better understanding of Chinese culture and contemporary Chinese society.

No mandarin skills are required for all internships.
