Program Fees Include:

* Accommodation: Shared room in a shared house with kitchen and 2 bathrooms with hot running water
* Food: 2 meals per day – Breakfast and a light dinner
* On arrival you will stay in a shared room in a hostel in Quito, breakfast included
* Wifi
* Training: Pre-departure pack, on-site orientation and project induction
* Airport pick up and drop off in Quito
* Support: 24-hour support
* Local SIM card and phone: (handset deposit of $50 required)
* Excursion planning: Staff will help plan activities and excursions (some activities may cost extra)

    You should be a medical, nutrition, biology or nursing student to be accepted onto this placement. If you are interested in studying medicine or nursing in the future and are passionate about community development you may also be considered for this placement. All volunteers must speak Spanish (level B1 Intermediate User of CEFR) to get the most out of this placement and to contribute effectively to the outreach programme.
