Pre-Veterinary Internship in South Africa

Program Fees Include:

• Accommodation: Shared rooms in a volunteer house with communal living space. Field work accommodation is in tented camps, bush cottages, farm houses or lodges.
• Food: 3 meals per day - a simple nutritious breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and a cooked dinner while on the project
• Voucher for a local restaurant on arrival
• Scheduled airport pick up and drop off from East London
• Training: Pre-departure information pack, learning reflection guide, on-site orientation, project induction provided
• Support: 24-hour support from on-site coordinator

Experience Required


    This placement is highly recommended for volunteers who are interested or already studying animal sciences and for those who are qualified veterinarians.
