No qualification are required to help our in our organisation. We encourage volunteers to share with us their skills or knowledge they feel could be of value to our work.
We welcome all people who would like to get to know our society and spend their time in Palestine.
No knowledge of Arabic is required, the working language in our office is English. Participants are encouraged though to take Arabic lessons to support their community with the children and their host families.
Cost in US$:
To cover accommodation a fee of 430 USD is asked for stays up to one month, or for every month of the stay (meals included). Furthermore we ask the volunteer to contribute a small amount directly to our centre to cover materials, building and use of internet/computers. This is 185 USD for 1 month, 305 USD for 2 months, 365 EURO for 3 months.

Program Fees Include:
Support the use of the Karama building.
Use of materials for sports and craft activities.
Use of computer and internet in the centre on agreed upon times.
Guidance and support from Karama staff at all times (internship supervision or certificate possible).
Guidance during trips/tours Karama staff will take you all over Palestine (West Bank /Jerusalem only) - we only share the taxi costs among the participants.

Volunteers from all over the world are most welcome and needed to work with us at Karama. Come to Deheishe and help us draw a smile on our children's faces! Volunteers from different countries have already joined us and worked with Karama in the past months. You can for instance help by giving English lessons, sharing your computer skills and musical or artistic talents, giving lectures about democracy or human rights issues or the like. We also need volunteers for administration tasks. You are welcome to stay for both short and long periods.
This Program is open to
Asian, Worldwide, Kiwi, South African, Australian, Canadian, European and American Participants. This Program is also open to Families, Couples and Individuals.
