Volunteer in Palestine
Palestine: Bethlehem, West Bank
1-2 Week, 2-4 Week, 1-2 Year, 3-6 Month, 5-8 Week, 7-12 Month, 9-12 Week, Multiple Year
Volunteering with Karama does not require any specific education or experience. All we ask is a certain level of curiosity, open-mindedness and willingness to open up to local society. Further more we could benefit from a wide range of qualifications, so interested people are welcome to share a list of the skills they feel could contribute to our work.
Understanding of Arabic is not required, the working language in our office is English. Volunteers are encouraged to take up Arabic classes in Karama in order to grow in the communication with the children and host families.
!! At the moment we are specifically interested in volunteers who have previous experience in teaching in international settings, women's health/fitness, social media or small business management. But all other interested people remain very welcome to apply !!
