The official Degree in Graphic Design specializing in Motion Graphics and Video offers a solid base of classic graphic design in order to achieve a high level of specialization in the details of digital design and the creation of animated graphics, or Motion Graphics. The program facilitates a framework for audiovisual creation, providing a wide range of cultural references, analytical tools, language development and diverse animated graphics, video editing, postproduction and digital effects techniques that are the most utilized and demanded in the audiovisual industry.
The academics of the first year of the Degree in Graphic Design, specializing in Motion Graphics and Video, focus on the acquisition of basic design knowledge (color, drawing), culture (the history of art and design) and project methodology, all of which are essential in establishing the foundations of a competent professional capable of working in any of the different fields of design.
The second year's academics probe further into knowledge that is essential for graphic designers, such as typography, layouts and graphic structures, among others, while maintaining a focus on culture and project issues, which are fundamental for strengthening students' training in all areas of audiovisual communications.
The academics of the third and fourth years focus on students' specializations as professionals with expertise in the design of Motion Graphics - designers who are capable of interpreting the fundamentals of design and elementary narrative principles, which are key for communicating ideas, transmitting the essence of an identity, promoting a service.... The fourth year culminates in a final degree project, which is a reflection of the students' training, and a professional job application letter.
