The objective of this Master is to equip designers with new tools based on research and creativity which will enable them to create products that are differentiated from others in the sector owing to their innovative character and quality.

This Master will also provide the key conditions that enable the professional to lead the entire management of the product thanks to the vision of outstanding professionals who have the great innovative power to manage design teams with major brands or their own companies.

The experience obtained enables the students to personalise their creative potential in order to discover and develop their own brand.

Target:

This Master is aimed at Industrial Designers, Interior Designers, Visual Designers or graduates in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Engineering or other similar areas. It is also aimed at professionals who have over two years experience in one of these areas and who want to specialise in the field of design, innovative marketing and product quality.

Highlights

The didactic program of this Master is divided into two different phases. In the first phase different exercises related to creativity, innovation of materials and management of design processes will be carried out. In the second phase a final project will be developed in collaboration with companies in order to learn how to respond to the demands of a real professional situation. In addition, meetings with professional experts will take place so that they can pass on their know-how to the students.

IED - Istituto Europeo di Design's Mission Statement

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai).
