The Master course aims at training professionals able to completely manage the design and construction of a boat by starting from the concept up to the actual construction in yard, by mastering each aspect of the executive step. In every aspect of the execution phase, the students will be accompanied by the experience and competence of the most important international professionals of the field.The Master offers comprehensive training that enables both professional and employment opportunities in offices of naval architecture, interior design studios of motor-yachts and sailboats. Other uses and employment opportunities are possible within technical offices and shipyards both as designers, architects and, after due training, as a project manager.
The Master course is addressed to professionals who want to further their specific skills in the yacht design and construction field, such as graduates in architecture, design and engineering or, anyway, anyone having suitable skills and working in the field.
The Master program aims to develop the kind of technological and design know-how to provide professionals with the skills to handle both design processes and craft manufacture, starting with the drafting of the concept right through to shipyard construction. The student is introduced to all aspects of yacht production and can benefit from the experience and competence of the most renowned international design specialists.

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai). Every year more than 1800 foreign students enroll in its courses, mainly coming from Europe, Central and South America and East Asia. The school offers more than 500 courses in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
