The master course of Interior Design at IED Sao Paulo has the characteristic of the Italian tradition design and has interdisciplinary courses that permeates all of the IED curses. It focuses on both the conceptual development as projecting as interior design, by placing the student in touch with projects, case studies, technical visits and discussions with industry professionals. The curriculum consists of required courses and optional subjects. In the latter case, the student has the opportunity to take a module in Milan, Italy.
The Professional:
The professionals trained by the master course should be able to act in the areas of architecture and urban planning and interior design. Must have ability to solve in a creative way the use of space, whether for work, recreation, treatment, study or other - always focusing on the quality of these spaces.
Areas of Study:
* Cultural: social and cultural trends, eco-sustainability and social responsibility, design history
* Technique and technology: color, light and visual perception, imaging, acoustics, administration and marketing, budgeting and planning works
* Projectual: interior design projects (stores, malls, clinics, restaurants, bars, hotels etc..) reform of the internal spaces

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai). Every year more than 1800 foreign students enroll in its courses, mainly coming from Europe, Central and South America and East Asia. The school offers more than 500 courses in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
