The Master in Interior Design explores the relationships that occur between shape, size and scale in respect to the essential functions of habitat of the modern individual.
Therefore, the course participants will attempt to analyze and be proposed with a set of experiences that arise when designing interior spaces related to housing, trade and cultural activities.
One of the main objectives of the Master is to train professionals to be able to project and develop the applications of the different solutions, so that these can be readily introduced into the project area in close contact with the local and European industrial context.
Target:
Students are welcomed from different backgrounds: Industrial or Product designers, Interior Designers, graduates in Architecture or Engineering. The Master is also conceived for professionals who can demonstrate more than two years of professional development in the field of design and who want to specialise in the area of Interiorism.
The didactic program consists of two distinct phases: the aim of the first phase is to transmit historical knowledge; the second phase confronts the technical aspects and the technology necessary to develop the project.

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai). Every year more than 1800 foreign students enroll in its courses, mainly coming from Europe, Central and South America and East Asia. The school offers more than 500 courses in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
