The stylist, i.e. the real narrator of the contemporary fashion, is the actual link between the clothes production, the customer, and the reader of fashion magazines.
His/her trend interpretation skills make him/her one of the main style creators as well as one of the most careful observers of the fashion evolution and trendsetters.
At professional level, stylists have to work hand in glove with photographers, fashion editors, and communication and marketing experts with whom they build very close bonds aimed at creating the stylistic identity of the brand or at giving an accurate meaning to the publishing image of a fashion magazine.
Target:
The Master is the right specialization for graduates or holders of diplomas from university-level schools in fashion, communication, economic studies, and design, as well as for professionals with at least two years of experience in the field.
The Master is divided into two macro areas.
The first one is preliminary and introduces the business dynamics of the fashion and publishing system. It deals with subjects linked to style by offering a first approach to the photographic and visual culture and to the marketing concepts and communication strategies of the brands with reference to the three main areas of the image productions: publishing, video and web.
The second part of the training pathway is focused on creativity and on the visual and iconographic approach. During this learning section, participants are involved in the practical realization of photographic shooting (men, women and still life) done at photographic studios or at other locations with the support of professional photographers and with specific fashion concepts to be developed.
