Starting from the study of the event "market", the master aims at developing skills to conceive, plan and manage an event. The course focuses, above all, on the aspects concerning the budget and the cost planning.
Aimed at:
The course is addressed to graduates, final-year university students in Arts, Communication Science, Sociology and Humanistic Sciences, to those who studied in the areas of the cultural marketing, territorial marketing, communication techniques and want to develop further skills.
Didactic Method:
The training pathway uses a dynamic and effective methodology that includes theoretical lessons, practical exercises - individual or group works -, laboratory activities, participation of professionals. A news of the course consists in study-visits, i.e. extra course appointments in which students will enter event agencies. In addition to a skill development, the study-visit has to be considered as a real relational occasion that allows a student to get in touch with professionals working in the event world.
Admission Requirements:
The Master has a fixed maximum number. The selection is based on a motivational interview, on a technical-aptitude test, and on the assessment of the Curriculum Vitae.
Job Opportunities:
By learning the skills and knowledge required in the event field, the Master course gives the basic concepts to work as Project Manager of cultural, artistic, and sports events. Job opportunities are possible in the fundraising, sponsorship and partner management areas.

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai). Every year more than 1800 foreign students enroll in its courses, mainly coming from Europe, Central and South America and East Asia.
