The Master of European Design Labs answers the current demand, training designers to develop their potential and know how to propose projects in a multidisciplinary environment. A person capable of leading projects and offering companies and institutions the drive necessary to optimize their results and advance ahead of their competitors.

    The main professional opportunities sought after completing the Master's include: Senior designer at a design studio or company, capable of leading projects and initiatives and managing multidisciplinary work teams; Senior designer at any professional studio or company, interested in the development of projects, processes, services, strategies and lines of communication; Design consultant, as a freelance or at a design studio or company; Design manager, as a freelance or at a design studio or company; Self-employed entrepreneur, establishing their own firm and developing their own quality brand and Freelance designer.

    Direct contact with avant-garde European designers and companies throughout the program allows them to interpret an international context, incorporate it in their training and situate it in a privileged position looking ahead towards their professional future.

    The Master's objective is to transmit to the participants in a new way of looking and thinking from a design perspective, so they become autonomous professionals capable of leading projects and proposing coherent initiatives. The program has been organized into four phases: research, development, production and exhibition, each with an academic program tailored for every moment of the idea development process. Continuous training allows students to research, experiment and defend their proposals, produce models, present them and reflect on their pros and cons. This way, throughout the course, participants will acquire new knowledge and skills, reinforcing their training in various activities: manage and coordinate interdisciplinary teams, strengthen their identity as creative professionals, build trend maps for European culture and design, advance and interpret future scenarios, establish personal contacts with diverse European professionals and conceptualize and develop and communicate innovative ideas.

    The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai). Every year more than 1800 foreign students enroll in its courses, mainly coming from Europe, Central and South America and East Asia. The school offers more than 500 courses in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
