The Master course is an excellence pathway for the theoretical and practical learning of the digital scene structure.
It aims at training professionals able to creatively manage the stage by competently using the traditional visual languages and by integrating them with the most innovative ones introduced by the digital technologies.

The Master course is addressed to those who - through a course at the university or a professional pathway - gained experience in the different areas of the technical and artistic design especially in the fields of scenography, architecture, computer graphics and video design.
The educational programme includes theoretical lessons, exercises and project simulations, laboratories of Computer Graphics (Photoshop, 3DSMax, Maya, After Effects), didactic visits to production studios (RAI, Cinecitta), pose theatres, stage laboratories (Euroscena International, La Scenotecnica, Cinears), stage props (Rancati e Arredamenti Cineteatrali Postiglione), and visits to companies working in the field of special effects and virtual reality (Infobyte, Clonwerk). Besides famous planners, the course will involve all professionals with whom the stage designer has to constantly interact such as directors, costume designers, authors, interior designers, stage hands, photography directors, graphic designers, special effects operators.

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai). Every year more than 1800 foreign students enroll in its courses, mainly coming from Europe, Central and South America and East Asia. The school offers more than 500 courses in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
