The master course in Shoes and Handbags of IED Sao Paulo offers students a comprehensive knowledge of existing businesses in the industry of fashion accessories. Shows the opportunities to export goods produced in Brazil. Encourages students to create new situations to place the Brazilian product in the international market. The course structure blends harmoniously theory and practice, a characteristic of the teaching method proposed by IED Italy. The model allows participants, through exercises and simulations, to develop practical skills-operatives.
The Professional:
The professionals graduated by the master course of design of shoes and bags should be able to operate in all areas of the market for shoes and handbags, from design and product design, through development of the parts, brand idealization, visualization and strategic marketing, marketing, until the commercializaction. They are also skilled professionals focused on developing projects in main demands of the market for fashion, footwear and handbags.

* Cultural: history and typology of shoes and handbags, visual communication theory, the global market, economic prospects for the products, fashion trends
* Technique and technology: biomechanic and comfort, manufacturing and construction of masculine and feminine footwear, branding and product identity
* Projetual: development of brand shoes and handbags, collection development.

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training. The school was born in 1966 to the intuition of its President Francesco Morelli. Through time, it has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, operating in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. The school is spread around twelve cities: (Milan, Turin, Venice,Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Shanghai). Every year more than 1800 foreign students enroll in its courses, mainly coming from Europe, Central and South America and East Asia.
