ISA (International Studies Abroad)

I loved studying abroad and I believe that every college student should go somewhere different and new for at least a semester. My four months in the Czech Republic were some of the best times ever and I accredit ISA and ISA staff for enriching my experience abroad!

Studying abroad is really the experience of a life time. It may sound cliche but it's the truth. I have seen more things in the 3 months that I have been in Europe than most people would get to see in a life time. Not to mention that life long friends and connections that I have made. This one decision of choosing to study abroad changed my entire life.

Honestly the best experience of my life, new cultures, new experiences, great staff, amazing new friends. I couldn't have asked for more. This program was perfect for me and I am planning on coming back soon!

The on-site staff is some of the most remarkable people I have ever met. I felt like I had a mom, a sister, and friend in all of them. They were there for me when things were chaotic and made my trip amazing. Without them, I would have truly been lost.

I loved my ISA experience. I learned more in this semester than I ever expected to, in terms of my language skills and cultural competency.

The Multi-Country program is awesome. I am going to convince some of my younger friends who are interested in studying abroad.

The Multi-Country trip was amazing - combination of traveling and courses, witnessing differences in Latin culture and seeing some of the most beautiful parts of the world all in one trip.

You will learn a lot about the culture and a lot about yourself. The ISA staff is as reliable as they get, and they will do their best to integrate you into the culture. Be prepared to have prior conceptions exploded, and be ready to have one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

This was my first time I have ever studied abroad, and I absolutely loved it. Immersing into a culture that is entirely different from your own can be something that may be imitating, but I had no problems at all. Everything was great.

The ISA Guanajuato Program not only improved my knowledge and ability in the Spanish language, but also provides students with an experience that will enrich their lives academically and personally.

With the help of ISA, I was able to experience the rich culture of Mexico that I would have other wise not have had the opportunity to be a part of.

Going abroad--whether it be through traveling, studying or working--is an experience all individuals should try to fulfill. ISA provided me with a comfortable transition to living abroad and strengthened my desire to continue to travel and experience other cultures.

My study abroad experience was the best experience of my life! I've changed as a person and become very culturally aware of others. I've met friends here that will last a lifetime.

ISA provided a great study aboard experience- the itinerary and courses offered were great and the staff was incredible. I would highly recommend ISA to any of my friends who are thinking about study abroad.

To study abroad is to find a part of you that you never knew existed. Even though you may be thousands of miles from home, you discover that home is what you make it, no matter whom you are or who you are with. It is something you must do!

I spent the Fall 2008 semester studying at the University of Westminster in London. I also participated in a part-time internship arranged through the university. I experienced a great part of London and the UK, and ISA's excursions and our group made it a memorable experience.

There were so many excursions and the memories I will cherish forever. [The ISA staff] was a HUGE help to each and everyone of us and more than accommodating when in need. [She] was not only our study abroad director but a friend and advisor. ISA helped to cover the headaches of all the paper work and such that I would have had no idea how to go about.

The Dominican Republic was a growing experience for me, and was necessary for me to better understand myself, social problems in the world, and many more lessons of life and reality. The program was very organized. The directors were excellent. There are many opportunities to practice Spanish.

ISA is so student oriented. Any questions or problem I had was dealt with quickly and their main concern was that I had the best experience possible. Prague is magical and ISA made it unforgettable.

ISA helped me connect the Spanish language to a beautiful country with a vibrant culture. I learned how to embrace this experience and found myself taking opportunities I never would have taken in the United States. It has been an amazing experience.

Costa Rica was everything I could have asked for in a study abroad program. Cool people, great staff, amazing teachers, wonderful culture!

We most often think of a study abroad as having a beginning and end. A date you fly out and a date you get back. This, then, wasn't a study abroad; through the excursions, friends, and ISA staff, I have grown and will forever be a different person. I will carry this experience with me long after I get back.

ISA is always there to help, I felt ISA was more of a family than a program. Whatever the problem they were there to help.

Studying abroad far surpassed any possible expectations I could have had. I felt like a true soul adventurer - waking up each day to find something new and exciting to do was so much fun. There was a lot going on in the city, things were easy to find, and I was able to squeeze every last drop of goodness from the world around me.

My experience with ISA in Brussels was amazing! The staff were fantastic, the excursions were fun and living in a foreign country is the experience of a life time!

This life changing experience prepared me to be a global citizen, and I had many terrific, unforgettable adventures. ISA was so helpful in achieving my goals abroad, and I could not have loved my experience any more.

This was easily one of the greatest, most enriching experiences of my life. I've learned and seen more in about three months than I ever dreamed I could.

It was an amazing experience! The staff welcomed us into their homes and made sure everything was always going perfect. My family made me feel at home and I absolutely could not have asked for a better, more eye-opening experience. And the food... perhaps the only downfall is having to leave the food after your stay. My family stuffed me with beans and rice and fresh tropical juices, everything I loved all the way up until the last day. ISA made the experience enjoyable without stressing over anything I was able to focus and myself and truly get everything I wanted out of the program.

This was an amazing experience. I feel like I've grown a lot as a person and in my language skills. I will miss my host family, friends, the beach, the food, and this country in general.
