Typical Volunteer

IPSL participants are typically U.S. undergraduate students who want to study and volunteer abroad. They generally take 3-4 academic courses (12-15 credits) and do community service (15-20 hours per week). Participants want an integrated experience where learning and service work together.

Fund for International Service-Learning (FISL) - The Fund for International Service-Learning (FISL) is offering USD 500 scholarships to aid students who are enrolled (or in the process of enrolling) programs operated by IPSL. Recipients are selected based on their academic and professional goals and accomplishments, as well as financial need. There are numerous non-IPSL scholarships and financial aid available that students may apply for.
