Intrax Study Abroad: Explore Ecuador!
Learn:
Intrax Study Abroad students are generally placed in private high schools in a region where the school year runs from September to July. Students usually wear uniforms and single-sex schools are very common in Ecuador. The school will determine each student's schedule based on a full review of a student's application and academic record. Typical subjects include: Spanish language and literature, science, history, mathematics, English, philosophy, computer science, physical education, and economics. All programs require one year of high school Spanish language study or the demonstrated equivalent, as classes will be conducted in Spanish.
Exposure to Spanish in the classroom and in daily life will help increase your fluency in your foreign language. Students can also arrange for additional Spanish classes in the afternoons and on weekends for a nominal fee.
Why immerse yourself in the Spanish language? Spanish is spoken by over 320 million people worldwide!
