INTESOL offers a fully accredited 150-hour TESOL certificate with a high quality academic content which is not only respected by employers, but also provides the perfect platform from which to begin your English teaching career. This is a 4-week residential course leading to the internationally recognized Certificate in TESOL accredited by NCFE held at our centre in Barcelona, Spain. As a leading provider of quality TEFL/TESOL courses across the world, INTESOL is proud to offer the students qualifications which have been accredited as being at NQF Levels 4 and 5 by NCFE, an Ofqual recognized National Awarding Body.

NCFE is regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator). If the accrediting body which accredits your course is UK based and is not on the Ofqual register, it is not government regulated.

The main components of the course are:

* Study skills
* The Study of English grammar and pronunciation: phonetics, stress, rhythm and intonation lexis
* The Teaching and Learning of ESOL basic principles: motivation, learning styles, communicative competence, reading and listening skills, speaking and writing skills, visual aids, errors and error correction, teaching young learners, business English, testing
* Lesson Planning: lesson stages and plans, lesson delivery, classroom management
* Teaching Practice
* Observation of experienced teachers
* Unknown Foreign Language. We also provide assistance when looking for a teaching job wherever you would like to work.

Qualifications

All applicants must fulfill the following:
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age at the beginning of the course, have a high school diploma, have a strong educational background with proof of university study or ability to handle university level course study, demonstrate a high level of competence in written and spoken English.

Additionally, any of the following aspects will enhance consideration of your application: Other proof of recent study such as an associate degree, diploma, certificate course, or specialized lecture or seminar, previous teaching or instructional experience, details of significant work experience (related to teaching or otherwise), volunteer work, any previous second language acquisition or learning, previous experience living in a foreign country, overseas travel experiences.
