Our Law internship program, is under the First Job Abroad program , links not only students but professionals alike with not only local companies but multinationals as well. This is an opportunity to not only gain valuable business skills and work experience but it is also a great way of improving local language.
Internships are available for any time period between six months and a year, depending on the individuals requirements and Law Firm needs. Jobs are customised to suit the individuals strengths and desires and will therefore enable both the student and the host company to get the most out of the internship.
In all of these work placements applicant will be fully immersed in the local culture and surrounded by native speakers. It is important to note that full use of your education will be made thus meaning that you will be given plenty of responsibility and opportunity to take on roles which not only challenge you but interest you as well.
Follow our seven steps guide to find out how to go about organising your internship.
In order for us to help you, need to send us a copy of your resume (CV). The CV you are to send us may be in English, and/or Spanish (if you have it at hand). You should also send a short cover letter stating the reason for seeking this job and the kind of work you would be interested in.
Please do not send it as an attachment unless in PDF format, but in the E-mail body. This is to avoid virus.
We will then send you the job descriptions of any roles that we presently have that we think may suit you.
If you are happy with this you will now be asked to pay the inscription fee.
We request this to cover admin fees and so that we know that you are genuinely interested in pursuing a volunteer placement through our company. The money can be paid into our account in the UK, USA or transferred by Western Union or Money Gram.
We will then get in touch with the company that you expressed interest in. We will send them your CV and tell them when you are hoping to work and how long for.
All being well you will be accepted onto their work team. At this stage we will require you to pay the remaining balance of the program fee. This is the fee we charge for the time, effort and administration that we put into finding and organising your work placement.
When the final payment has been made we will arrange a specific start date for the job.
On arrival in Argentina, we will accompany you to meet your new employer and ensure that everything runs smoothly. We will also maintain contact with yourself and the host company during your internship to ensure that all is well and problem free.
Thank you for using our services, we look forward to receiving your CV and cover letter so that we can start working together to organise what promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience.
