Interstudy provides a wide range of semester and yearlong study abroad opportunities throughout Britain. Our partnerships in the British Isles date to our founding in 1980 and place Interstudy among the most experienced providers of facilitated direct enrollment study abroad programs in the UK and Ireland. Students can enroll in a broad range of courses and actively participate in university life while enjoying Interstudy organized excursions and staying connected to in country staff.
Just over an hour from London by train, the University of Warwick is located just southwest of Coventry city center and is set in nearly 750 acres of natural countryside with lakes, woods and beautifully tended gardens in which you can relax and escape from the buzz of campus. Famous for its Cathedral, Lady Godiva, and the devastation brought to the city in World War II, Coventry is close to historic centers of English culture such as Stratford-Upon-Avon and the 18th century town of Leamington Spa, as well as the traditional rural landscape of the Cotswold's and Birmingham's busy shopping and entertainment district. The University's central location in the heart of England means that access to the rest of the country is easy. Regular bus service links the campus to Coventry and other nearby towns. Express rail service to London makes the rest of Europe and Ireland easily accessible and inexpensive flights can be booked through the student agency on campus. Warwick is a great choice if you're looking for a campus setting with a strong sense of community.
In the forty years since the University of Warwick was founded, it has attained the position of one of Britain's leading universities. What makes Warwick a unique place at which to study is the combination of excellence in both research and teaching. They are not activities confined to a select few, and as a student at Warwick, you will directly benefit from the lively academic community. The university also has a strong tradition of involvement in the local region, and as a visiting student you can join in this tradition through volunteer opportunities in Coventry, Kenilworth and Leamington Spa.
The University of Warwick's academic departments are organized into four faculties. As a visiting student, you may select modules (courses) in three of these faculties: Arts, Science and Social Sciences. You should aim to select the majority of your modules in your main or 'base' department, noting whether the module is limited to full-year, fall, or spring only. You may also be able to select one more in an additional department, depending on your academic background. Your base department will be responsible for allocating you a personal tutor who will be responsible for monitoring your academic progress. Be sure to choose your base department carefully as it may be difficult to change after you have been accepted into the program.
The University of Warwick has lots to offer with unique, modern facilities such as the Warwick Arts Centre and the indoor Bear Rock Climbing Wall. Campus life is very convenient with a supermarket, post office, hairdresser, cinema, travel agent, sports center, nightclubs and restaurants all a short walk from your accommodation. The Warwick Students' Union is one of the biggest and best in the country. It supports over 300 societies and sports clubs, as well as student newspapers, radio station and a TV channel. Societies range from cultural to religious, travel to food, musical to academic; there are always opportunities to meet like-minded people and make new friendships. You will live with local students in a single room with shared bathroom in one of the University residence halls. The halls have common areas and kitchens, and no matter where you live on campus you will have free access to the internet.

Compared to a lot of my friends I definitely had to put with less hassle - all because of you. In so many aspects you could not have done any better. I would be more than willing to talk to others ...
