Our School
The International Language School of the YMCAs of Quebec, located in Montreal, was establish in 1965 and is part of the International YMCA organization located in over 120 countries

The School is located in the heart of downtown Montreal, across from the Peel subway station. Opened in 2001, the 6-storey building includes our language school and a fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment.

We have 22 very bright classrooms, 2 computer-assisted language labs and a student lounge.

International Students Programmes Our Courses

The English program for adults offers 8 levels of grammar & conversation as well as the following: TOEFL iBT, TOEIC and IELTS preparatory courses, a Pronunciation course, a Business English course and Conversation courses.

The French program for adults offers 6 levels of grammar and conversation as well as the following: Conversation courses, a Business French course and a preparatory course for the TFI test (Test de français international)

 Daytime sessions start every 4 weeks and part-time evening courses start every 8 weeks.

 We are the official TOEIC and TFI Testing in Montreal.

Accommodation
Our school offers homestay accommodation with English and French Speaking Canadian Families whose homes are usually located within 45 minutes of our School. You may also choose to stay in a student residence.

Our Fitness Centre
All students registered in our language programs of 15 or more hours per week have free access to our fitness classes which includes:

 A large selection of group fitness classes: aerobics, toning, step, aquafit, yoga, various dances and much more!
 A 25 meters lap-pool
 A 125-metre indoor jogging track
 A gymnasium for team sports and badminton
 4 squash courts
 A hot tub
 Locker rooms with sauna

About Montreal

Our school is located in the downtown core which means that you are within walking distance to the underground city, theatres, restaurants, the Old Port and festivals.

The school also organized in-house activities every month. Excursions to New York, Toronto, Ottawa, Québec City, etc..., can be arranged through our travael agency contacts.
