Most of the internships are in the Business Development, Research, Human Resources or Marketing departments of various industries. Each year, we are expanding the breadth of industries and fields in which we can secure placements.

Stop-start capital since the Mongol Yuan dynasty, Beijing is one of China's true ancient citadels. It is also an aspiring, confident and modern city that seems assured of its destiny to rule over China ad infinitum.

A vast and symmetrical metropolis, Beijing is the orderly seat of the communist political power in China, so its architecture traces each and every mood swing from 1949 to the present, from felled hutong (narrow alleys) to huge underground bomb shelters scooped out during the paranoid 1970s. One moment you are sizing up a blank Soviet-style monument, the next you spot a vast, shimmering tower rising up from the footprint of a vanished temple.

Qualifications

- Between 18-30 Years of Age
- Fluent in English (Chinese language knowledge is not required, but is a definite plus)
- Minimum of 60 hours of Undergraduate Study Completed or Relevant Academic Background and/or Work Experience in Desired Field

Note: If undertaking this program for academic credit, additional eligibility requirements apply: (Enrollment in a U.S. or Canadian University; Minimum 2.8 GPA; Completion of 30 undergraduate credit hours, 60 preferred).

International Internships, LLC was formed in 2004 to provide university level students of all nationalities an opportunity to gain work experience abroad by undertaking an internship in a foreign country. We are dedicated to finding you an internship that will not only compliment the knowledge you have acquired thus far in your chosen field, but that will give you a global perspective as you seek a competitive edge in achieving your career goals. Our knowledgeable staff have all interned or studied abroad themselves and are available to advise you on the program that best suits your needs. They will guide you through the simple online application, send you a pre-departure packet and advise you on visa regulations as we search for your customized placement abroad. Most fields can be accommodated and many programs don't require a foreign language. Our onsite coordinators secure your housing and provide you with an orientation once you arrive - available for you throughout your stay. Soon, you will be working alongside international counterparts while you travel on weekends to explore other destinations!
