Intern in one of the world's biggest economies - Brazil! A huge extension of fertile lands allows records in production of grains, coffee and a great variety of fruits, giving the country notoriety in the international market. It is also leader in the production of meat. Placement location depends greatly on the applicant's background and the opportunities available. Our placement teams have offices in: Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Blumenau, Caxias do Sul, Curitiba, Florianopolis, Londrina, Juiz de Fora, Niteroi, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Vitoria.

Highlights

Brazil is the largest country in South America and has one of the most diverse landscapes and cultures of any country in the world. Each region of the country offers something different: from the amazing biodiversity of the Amazon in the north, to the Afro-Brazilian culture of Salvadorde Bahia in the Northeast, to the cosmopolitian cities of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in the Southeast, there is a little something for everyone. During the initial four weeks you will have the opportunity to undertake a language course while you are interning. The final four weeks will be internship only.

Qualifications

* Between 18-30 Years of Age
* Fluent in English and/or Spanish
* Portuguese is not Required but is a Plus
* Non-U.S. or Canadian Citizens Will be Examined on a Case by Case Basis

Note: If undertaking this program for academic credit, additional eligibility requirements apply: (Enrollment in a U.S. or Canadian University; Minimum 2.8 GPA; Completion of 30 undergraduate credit hours, 60 preferred).

Our knowledgeable staff have all interned or studied abroad themselves and are available to advise you on the program that best suits your needs. They will guide you through the simple online application, send you a pre-departure packet and advise you on visa regulations as we search for your customized placement abroad. Most fields can be accommodated and many programs don't require a foreign language. Our onsite coordinators secure your housing and provide you with an orientation once you arrive - available for you throughout your stay. Soon, you will be working alongside international counterparts while you travel on weekends to explore other destinations!
