An internship in Australia presents a rare opportunity to be completely immersed within the culture and work environment down under! Working and learning alongside native Australians provides a unique insight into the beauty of the culture and customs of the Aussies, as they are affectionately known. In addition, the issues of language will not obstruct the experience for English speakers. The experience of interning in Australia will enrich your professional career in a way that just travel and study alone cannot.
At the heart of Sydney Australia's oldest, largest and most diverse city - is the outrageously good-looking Sydney Harbour. Like a psychedelic supermodel, the city curves and sways through this glamorous maze of sandstone headlands, lazy bays and legendary surf beaches. The Sydney experience is essentially physical - dunk yourself in the Bondi surf, sail under the Harbour Bridge on a yacht, jog along the Coogee cliff tops or rampage through Centennial Park on horseback. Everybody seems to be outside - the beaches are swarming, street cafés buzz and the harbor blooms with sails.
Sydney is no less complex socially than it is on the map. An edgy multiculturalism ignites the food scene and fuels the nocturnal life - you'll lose yourself in the restaurants, bars and clubs just as easily as on the streets. Aboriginal heritage makes an impact through art; you'll see many urban galleries celebrating indigenous culture.

International Internships, LLC was formed in 2004 to provide university level students of all nationalities an opportunity to gain work experience abroad by undertaking an internship in a foreign country. We are dedicated to finding you an internship that will not only compliment the knowledge you have acquired thus far in your chosen field, but that will give you a global perspective as you seek a competitive edge in achieving your career goals. Our knowledgeable staff have all interned or studied abroad themselves and are available to advise you on the program that best suits your needs. They will guide you through the simple online application, send you a pre-departure packet and advise you on visa regulations as we search for your customized placement abroad. Most fields can be accommodated and many programs don't require a foreign language. Our onsite coordinators secure your housing and provide you with an orientation once you arrive - available for you throughout your stay. Soon, you will be working alongside international counterparts while you travel on weekends to explore other destinations!
