This 8-week program begins with a 4-week intensive Spanish language course in Buenos Aires, followed by a 4-week volunteer program that allows you to put your new language skills to work. Beginner level Spanish speakers are welcome to apply. In addition to the language course, you'll participate in school-organized events and activities, and receive a guided walking tour, access to student discounts. Housing and some meals are included.
Once you have completed the language course, you will move on to your volunteer placement. You may choose your preferred area of volunteer work, and we will work with you to determine a volunteer placement that best meets your skills, talents, and interests. Previous volunteers have worked with social work agencies, orphanages, cultural institutions, HIV/AIDS clinics, and many other organizations.
