  • Description

Interac, Japan's leading private provider of Assistant Language Teachers to the Japanese public school system is currently accepting applications from motivated and committed educators to join our team of teaching professionals. Previous ALT experience, Japanese language skills and driving licence are preferred but not essential.

If you have a passion for teaching, and wish to expand your horizons and teaching skills by working in the public school system in Japan as an ALT, then you are the candidate we are looking for.

Based out of its head office in Tokyo and its 14 branch offices located throughout Japan, Interac's staff of nearly 3,000 ALTs are now working in nearly every prefecture/state.

To be considered for a position, attendance at one of our overseas/domestic seminar/webinar and interview sessions is generally required, however in certain circumstances we will consider online seminars and interviews. Our recruiters conduct presentations and interviews in various locations worldwide throughout the year. Please check our company homepage for a complete list of current dates and available locations or follow us on Twitter.

Applications from candidates who already hold a valid working visa or for those people eligible to work in Japan and wishing to start before the beginning of the new school term in March are also welcome. To apply (for these positions only), we suggest that you send us your resume.

Please note that these earlier assignments will require the candidate to be very flexible with location preferences. Departure for Japan at short notice may be required and, in some cases, financial assistance may also be available.

Candidates who pass the initial screening will be invited to attend a one day recruitment seminar/webinar in one of the cities listed on our homepage and are encouraged to discuss their preferred commencement date with our recruiters.
