    Analyzing, documenting and reporting collected field data is an essential component of Intelligentsia's agro-ecology and related research projects. Data analyzed in high quality manner and easily accessible for viewing online in various advanced tools, make solid base for further scientific investigation and senior level decisions making. Mastering issues related to this data input is main objective of this training assignment.

    List of main tasks:
    * Get familiar with assigned research project objectives;
    * Collect accurate data during field trips;
    * Inspect data for accuracy, quality and indications of field system malfunctions;
    * Produce basic statistical and graphical analysis for visualization of investigated issues;
    * Create online databases systems and associated scripts running related web based tools;
    * Develop intelligent systems, designated to automatically notify involved staff about actual situation in the field;
    * Display results in near real-time online databases with user-friendly interface;
    * Deliver summary results in appropriate reports for further scientific decision making.

  • Highlights

    The intern and visitor participants live together in a close-knit atmosphere within several dormitory houses. This mix of nationalities and individuals brings with it various benefits and complications of working and living with people of differing cultures and backgrounds. Together they take recreational trips to visit various parts of Florida. Participants have come from many nations. All nationalities are welcome to apply but those coming from overseas must be prepared to secure the appropriate visa.
