  • Description

    People from abroad is more than welcome to perform this humble job. There are several small poor towns/villages in the state of Morelos where they are in need of people like you who has the willingness to help our poor communities to make a big difference. Is not hard at all to get involved with elder people, women and children that come from various places around the country to live and work in Morelos. The participants will help feeding the laborers in the dining room & probably will also help making improvements in the shelters.

  • Highlights

    All the participants must be willing to put up with the extreme weather. Sometimes is really hot, and sometimes really cold, so it varies a lot, besides that it rains a lot during the Summer season. Bring jackets, sweaters, sweat shirts, pants, shorts, light T-shirts, umbrella, cap or hat (sombrero) and mostly all type of different clothing for the different type of climate. (Also bring donations for them, used/new clothing, toys and non-perishable food is more than welcome!)

  • Qualifications

    No experience is neccesary to help in the dining room to feed the homeless and field workers who comeback from work after an intensive rough day under the sun. The only requirement is the desire & willingness of helping the most poor and unfortunate in order to improve their way of living. (donations of all types are accepted)

    The prices vary a lot depending in the lenght of stay and the type of program the participants get to choose, for instance, if taking Spanish lessons before the volunteering, the people involved will have to pay a registration fee, a weekly tuition fee + a fee for the teaching material.     There's no limit for the length of stay, a minimum of 1 week is required up to a year +. Most people love helping the orphanages, but this area is also in great need!

    TLALOC's main purpose is to become a leading language school in teaching Spanish as a second language for foreigners as same as bringing volunteers from abroad with the mere purpose of helping those communities who most need it. TLALOC strives to help both, the local and foreign students to learn the language in a highly and effective method, especially Spanish in the way it is spoken in Mexico and English for the Mexican students with a motivated method that is at an affordable price. We also promote mutual cultural experience from Mexico's poorest towns within the state of Morelos. That's why TLALOC offers different volunteering and internship opportunities as a plus so that the participants can help out in making a big difference in the sorrounding poor communities that arise every day in Cuernavaca's City and the state of Morelos, Mexico. All kinds of Donations are always welcome!
