    If you are looking for a small program size with a great value, then look no further. When you study abroad with IGE, you receive personalized focus. With programs capped at 20 students each term, IGE specializes in getting to know its students and their needs. Each group is oriented and facilitated by a highly qualified on-site director whose primary concern is for your ultimate experience.

    You will join a community of students committed to exploring the critical issues of sustainable economic development, culture, and the challenges of globalization. Students study with professors from the Latin American Universidad Veritas and engage local and regional experts, supportive faculty and staff and other like-minded students throughout the program. All units are fully transferable to any university in the United States.

    Academics are overseen by the IGE Academic Policies Committee to insure the highest of academic quality and standards. Students may choose to attend the program for either the fall or the spring semester.

    Explore firsthand the rich cultural diversity of Costa Rica through travel-learning experiences in both countries and expand your understanding of the global village in which we live and the key challenges we face.

    Travel is an integral part of the Costa Rica program and all students take part in weekend trips throughout Costa Rica. Additional weekend trips throughout Central America are a continual option for students.
