For our television and multi-media internships, we work with community news and entertainment stations that allow our interns to receive hands on experience in the news and entertainment industry. Interns have the opportunity to work hand in hand with leading producers and on-air talent to generate exciting and relevant news and entertainment pieces.
We have both on-air and behind the scenes positions that that will maximize your talents and add to your resume.
Job Duties Include:
1) Back-story research
2) Storyboarding
3) Assisting station production team
4) In station filming
5) In field filming
6) Editing
7) Marketing
With the addition of bringing video to the internet, there are multimedia opportunities. Some film or editing experience is helpful, but we work with stations that will take raw interest and make it useful.
Past interns have written and conducted on-air interviews with local political and entertainment figures generating media portfolios that have aided them in their career directions.
In this age of multi-media, you will have a chance to learn production techniques including using the latest editing software, camera work, etc.

* Work one on one with Dr. David Adams, a cultural anthropologist and respected author
* Academic credit available

In your brief letter of intent on the I.C.E.
