Alexandria lies to the north of the Nile Delta on the Mediterranean Sea. It is rich in history from Ancient Egypt to the Greco/Roman era.

From Cairo, continue overland north to the awe-inspiring city of Alexandria on the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy tour of the city of Alexandria beginning with a drive through Mohammed Ali Square to Pompey's Pillar. Explore the largest Roman cemetery, the Catacombs of Kom Al Shugafa, and then proceed to the Greco-Roman Theater, and the Fortress of Quit Bay, enjoy visit of Library of Alexandria.

Rest for lunch and then go to Montazah Palace and Park situated on the Sea of the Corniche, where you will witness one of the most superb views of the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy the lavish gardens surrounding the Palace, which has been converted into a casino and museum. In the afternoon drive back to Cairo where you will transfer to your hotel or the Cairo Airport for final departure.

This day tour is valid daily except Tuesdays as Alexandra's Bibliotheca is closed on Tuesdays.
