The University of Limerick offers some of the finest student housing in Ireland. The student residences are arranged in three different complexes (called "villages"), all within a 5-minute walk of campus. The newest village is Dromroe Village. It has 457 en suite rooms with shared living areas, all overlooking the river Shannon. Kilmurry and Plassey Villages consist of terraced houses grouped around village streets and courtyards. Each house has 6 single study bedrooms with a wash basin and two shared bathroom facilities with showers. All three villages include cable TV, kitchen, and launderettes. Computer links are available at an additional charge.
