    Help not-for-profits grow! Ikando is implementing a web design initiative for the sustainable development projects it has partnered with. Websites are a brilliant way to inform the public and to raise funds for these organizations. We would like to enable our partner organizations to benefit from this.

    The Role:
    The volunteer will be required to design and develop basic websites for some of the following organizations we partner with:
    - Cape Coast School for the Deaf
    - Children's Performing Arts School
    - School for the Blind

    The volunteer will also be required to help with the maintenance and development of the Ikando website and the website of the Foundation for Contemporary Art.

    You will be required to meet with our partner organizations on site to assess their needs, obtain the website content, arrange hosting, provide design solutions and develop the website.

  • Qualifications

    * The volunteer must have a solid background in web design.
    * The volunteer must be able to work with Dreamweaver MX 2004
    * The volunteer must have PHP experience.
    * Some of the sites may include integration of an online payment system, the ideal candidate will have experience in this.
    * You will be asked to provide examples of previous work.
