A proposal writer to assist in designing and writing proposals to help raise funds to support their numerous projects across Ghana. activities aimed at improving the disaster preparedness of communities. This role is important in assisting the organization to deliver on its commitments in the areas of promoting humanitarian values, disaster response, disaster preparedness, and health and community care.
* Assist in the coordination of Disaster Preparedness projects;
* To be actively involved in all the activities under the coordination and support of the coordinator/project officer;
* Assist in ensuring the proper management of the project;
* Prepare documents and reports on project implementation and communicate regularly with partners;
* Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
* You must be at least 18 years of age upon application
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and be computer literate
* You must have excellent research, writing and editing skills
* Ability to work in team and independently
* The roles will be quite hectic with a minimum working day of 8hrs required. All interns will be required to act professionally and dress appropriately (jackets will need to be on stand-by)
* You will need to be flexible and tolerant, show initiative and enthusiasm to face the many hurdles and challenges that you will encounter
