Good interaction with disadvantaged children in rural and urban areas, including:
- Assisting rural children
- Raising awareness / and giving support to children and their parents to prevent/reduce drop-out rates
- Health care and health education for children
- Advocacy: Child abuse, trafficking and neglect
* Teachers - English/Health/Maths/French/Care/ICT/Reading/Drawing/Music/Sports/Entertainment
* Life skills and training - trainers and demonstrators
Interacting and assisting disadvantaged children in rural and urban areas in all the above mentioned areas.

We seek to offer volunteers affordable, quality and skill specific placements with organisations that require their help. We believe our volunteers can be catalysts for change within these organisations. Ikando aims to communicate through its volunteers the positive story coming out of Africa.
