Description

The Postgraduate Diploma Programme (PGD) is designed for candidates who have already completed a Bachelor Degree in any discipline or who have at least 3 years work experience at a supervisory level and wish to build a career in the hospitality industry.

PGD in Hospitality & Design Management
The PGD in Hospitality & Design Management is an intensive 5 month academict programme provides graduates with a broad theoretical understanding of hotel management and strongly builds on Management strategies, drawn from real life case studies. (e.g. Analyzes of 5* Hotels for example in Neuchatel and Bern.)

* Food & Beverage Management
* Food & Beverage Cost Control
* Housekeeping Management
* Front Office/ Room Division Management
* Managerial Accounting
* Human Resources Management
* Marketing
* Applied Research Skills
* Hospitality Facilities Management and Design
* Web Design and AutoCAD
* Fundamentals of Interior Decorating
* French, German or Spanish

Program Duration
5 months full-time plus an optional 4 to 6 month internship.

Entry Requirements:
BA degree or at least 3 years work experience in a supervisory position in the hospitality or other industry.
